Christmas Gift Tags
Some of the things I come across are not always usable in their original form or time has not been kind to them, after all, we’re primarily dealing with fragile paper here. While the vintage Christmas card where the frame came from was in fairly good shape, it had a simple landscape image that really didn’t say Christmas to me. However, the drawing was framed with a wonderful series of swirls and curls that I thought would make a wonderful border for a holiday gift tag. Add a bit of holly, red berries, a poinsettia and Christmas bells from other vintage cards, and now, I think I have something worthy of sharing with everyone.
After cleaning up the images a bit, I had a little fun with color overlays and now have two different color options for you to choose from. Rather than create printable sheets in every possible combination of colors, I thought it would be far simpler to just share each of the two Christmas gift tags here and let you decide which one(s) you might want to use as part of your gift wrapping this year.
Each tag will print at 3 inches wide by 2.46 inches tall. The last one includes two of the letters in a fancy letter set that is posted on Reusable Art.
Which gift tag do you like better? Do let me know so that I can follow the consensus and offer more tags in the future the way you prefer.
