Garden Tapestry
While technically not wallpaper, this vintage garden tapestry image is from a 1918 book about decorative textiles. Wouldn’t it make a great card or background?
In the garden tapestry we have what looks like a family enjoying a sunny day in their garden. The affluent family is clearly dressed in the finest fashions of the period. Unfortunately, the only information that I picked out of the book about this garden tapestry is that it was a jacquard tapestry. The color palette favors pinks, greens and yellowish-beige. There are two children and two couples in the tapestry; perhaps it represents three generations from the same family. It’s a sweet piece that could be used in a variety of ways.
