Good Wishes for Easter
Today’s post is a box full of pansies to send Good Wishes for Easter. Flowers in pretty shades of purple, lavender and yellow cascade out of a lavender box. A purple and lavender ribbon must have kept them all in the box at one time. But once the box was open, the flowers burst forth in an explosion of purple goodness.
We know this postcard is in the public domain for two reasons. It was published in 1908 which makes it copyright free in the United States. And, it is the work of that wonderful postcard illustrator Ellen H. Clapsaddle (1865-1934). Good Wishes for Easter is one of the over 3,000 postcards that feature her artwork.
If you want to use this vintage Clapsaddle Easter greeting for your own projects, I would suggest you click on the illustration shown above. That way you can access the largest version of this file that we have.
